Aircraft model
CESSNA P206
Everything here is true of every aircraft of the type, not of any one aircraft.
The P206 is the Super Skylane, the passenger version of the Stationair: the same six-seat airframe but with a conventional passenger door on the right instead of the double cargo doors. Cessna sold it to owners who wanted the load and cabin of a 206 in something that felt like a family aeroplane rather than a truck.
For a buyer the choice between a P206 and a U206 is entirely about the door. The cargo doors of the U206 are far more useful for anything bulky and are what most operators want, which is why the P206 is less common and usually slightly cheaper. Everything else is identical: 285 hp, six seats, 1,550 lb of load, and the firewall and nose gear inspection that every heavy nosewheel Cessna needs.
