Aircraft model
AEROPRAKT MFG SP Z O O A32
Everything here is true of every aircraft of the type, not of any one aircraft.
The Aeroprakt A32 Vixxen is a high-wing all-metal two-seater designed in Ukraine and built in Poland, and it does two things unusually well: it stalls at around 27 knots, which is exceptionally slow, and it still cruises at 110. That combination of a very low stall and a respectable cruise is rare and makes it genuinely short-field capable.
The cabin is wide, the doors are large, and visibility over the nose and out the sides is excellent. It climbs at 1,000 fpm on a Rotax 912 and burns about five gallons an hour. The reservations are supply-chain ones and they are real: the design originates in Ukraine and the war has affected the company, manufacturing has moved, and the US fleet is small and supported through a distributor. Buyers should satisfy themselves about parts availability before committing rather than assume it.

- Each of the five categories places the model within its peer class, from 0 (the worst of the class) to 10 (the best): a position among comparable models, not a grade. The overall score is the sum of the categories shown that are scored, out of 10 for each (50 when all five are); it is given only when at least 4 of the five are scored, and it can be set against another model's only when both are in the same peer class and scored on the same categories.
