Refund policy
What each TailFax product costs, and whether and how it can be refunded.

TailFax report
For a TailFax report you bought on its own: if it is not what you needed, for any reason, you can have a full refund.
Under the report terms in force now (version 2026-10-05), you can have a full refund for 7 days after you pay. No questions, nothing to return. A purchase keeps the window of the terms version it was bought under; each purchase on Your reports shows the last day it can be refunded.
How to get a refund
- Sign in at Your reports with the email address you bought the report with. We send a sign-in link to that address.
- Choose Request refund next to the purchase. The button is there only while the purchase is inside its refund window.
- The refund is always the full amount you paid. It is issued through Stripe, our payment processor, and usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Your access to that report ends when Stripe confirms the refund. Any other report you have bought is not affected. We email you when the refund is issued.
Refunds are not requested by email: the button is the way to ask, and it works at any hour.
Broker plan
The plan costs $199 a month and starts with a 7-day free trial. Your card is taken when you sign up and nothing is charged during the trial: cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. After that, each month is charged automatically and payments are not refunded, including a part month. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; the plan then runs to the end of the month already paid.
Reports you download under the plan are part of the plan, not separate purchases, so they are not refunded one by one and have no Request refund button. Share links that buyers open are free. See the broker terms.
