Cessna 152
1 model built 1978–1985 · 1,635 on the US register today
The 150's replacement, built 1978-1985 and still the most common two-seat trainer in the American fleet. The important change was the switch from the 100 hp Continental to a 110 hp Lycoming O-235 designed for 100-octane fuel, plus a higher gross weight and a slightly larger cabin; flap travel was reduced to 30 degrees. It shares type certificate 3A19 with the 150 but is universally treated as a separate model.
