Cessna's unpressurised commuter and utility twin, built 1967-1985 and the aeroplane that flew a large part of the United States' commuter network before the turboprops arrived: 300 hp turbocharged Continentals, up to eight passenger seats. The 402C (1979-85) brought the bonded wet wing without tip tanks, 325 hp engines and a higher gross weight. It shares type certificate A7CE with the 401, 411, 414, 421 and 425.
