The Citation II, a stretched Citation I with more powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada engines and eight passenger seats, built 1978-1994 (the 550 designation was reused for the Citation Bravo, 1997-2006). The S550 Citation S/II (1984-88) has a new supercritical wing giving about fifteen more knots and a higher ceiling.
