CubCrafters' light sport Cubs: the Sport Cub (CC11-100, 2006-12), a modern reproduction of the J-3 with a 100 hp Continental, and the Carbon Cub SS (CC11-160, 2009 on), the same airframe rebuilt around carbon-fibre parts and a purpose-built 180 hp engine with an extraordinary power-to-weight ratio. The CCX-2000 is the experimental Carbon Cub sold as the EX-2 kit or factory-assisted FX-2.
