The de Havilland Tiger Moth, the British equivalent of the Stearman: an open-cockpit tandem biplane with a swept upper wing and an inverted inline Gipsy engine, used to train the wartime RAF and Commonwealth air forces. The DH.82 of 1931 had the 120 hp Gipsy III; almost every survivor is a DH.82A with the 130 hp Gipsy Major.
