Interstate S-1A Cadet

The Interstate Cadet, a tandem two-seat high-wing trainer built in small numbers in 1941-42 before the war ended civil production, best known as the type Cornelia Fort was flying over Pearl Harbor. The S-1A has a 65 hp Continental; the -65F, -85F and -90F have Franklin engines of the stated power. The type certificate later produced the Arctic Tern.
