The Just Aircraft Highlander, the bush-plane version of the Escapade that Just Aircraft and Reality Aircraft in Britain developed jointly, the American prototype flying in February 2003: a design traceable to the Avid Flyer through the Kitfox, with side-by-side seats in a widened cabin, a chromoly steel frame, fabric covering, a 31 ft 6 in folding wing of constant chord with Hoerner tips, V struts and tailwheel or tricycle gear, for Rotax and Jabiru engines of 50-120 hp. About 230 kits of all variants had been sold by mid-2010. Flown at 1,320 lb as a light-sport aircraft or heavier as an amateur-built.
