The Lancair ES is the fixed-gear four-seat composite kit Lancair derived from the IV in the 1990s, a 35-36 ft wing at 3,550 lb gross with a 210 hp Continental IO-360 (ES) or 310 hp IO-550 (Super ES), quoted at 215-225 mph cruise, a 70 mph stall, 2,000 fpm and about 1,200 nm; Cessna's certified Columbia 300 descends from it.
