The Midget Mustang is David Long's single-seat all-metal racer of 1948, sold as plans and kits by Robert Bushby and now Mustang Aeronautics: an 18 ft 6 in wing, 590 lb empty and 900 lb gross, with Jane's figures of 165 mph cruise, 225 mph maximum, 2,200 fpm and 375 miles on a 135 hp Lycoming O-290; the two-seat Mustang II grew from it.
