The Murphy Renegade is Darryl Murphy's tandem two-seat ultralight-category biplane kit from British Columbia, an aluminium-tube and fabric aeroplane with a 21 ft upper wing, 375 lb empty and 850 lb gross on a 50 hp Rotax 503, quoted at 65 knots cruise, a 31-knot stall and 700 fpm; the Renegade Spirit is the version with an 80 hp Rotax 912, and 590 of all kinds had been built by 2011.
