The Nanchang CJ-6, the Chinese primary trainer that replaced the licence-built Yak-18: a tandem two-seat low-wing monoplane with a Housai radial, inward-retracting tricycle gear and pneumatic systems, imported into the United States in large numbers from the 1990s. The CJ-6 (1958-65) has 260 hp; the CJ-6A (1965 on) 285 hp.
