The Cheyenne, Piper's pressurised twin turboprop built on the Navajo airframe, 1974-1984: the PA-31T Cheyenne (renamed Cheyenne II in 1978) with 620 shp PT6A-28s, the lower-powered Cheyenne I (PA-31T1), the stretched Cheyenne IIXL (PA-31T2) and the unpressurised T-1040 commuter (PA-31T3) that mated the Chieftain fuselage to the Cheyenne I wing and engines.
