The Risen is Alberto Porto's Italian carbon-fibre two-seater, launched at the end of 2017 by Porto Aviation Group of Lecco: a 29.5 ft wing, a 48-inch cabin under a motorised canopy, retractable or fixed tricycle gear and a Rotax 912iS, 728 lb empty and 1,323 lb gross, quoted at 120 knots and 1,290 nm at maximum-range cruise on 2 gallons an hour and about 160 knots at normal power; the Risen SV with the 160 hp 916iS and a shorter wing cruises at 225 knots and holds its class speed record.
