The Evektor SportStar is the Czech all-metal low-wing two-seater that became the first aircraft approved as a special light-sport aircraft in the United States in 2005: 681 lb empty, 1,323 lb gross, a Rotax 912ULS, 31 gallons usable, and Jane's figures of 110 knots at 75%, 700 nm and 1,020 fpm; the SL, Plus and Max are successive versions and the Harmony its successor.
