The Stinson 108, built 1946-1950: a four-seat, high-wing, fabric-over-steel-tube tailwheel family with a roomy cabin and a 150 hp (108, 108-1) or 165 hp (108-2, 108-3) Franklin. The 108-1 added a baggage door, the 108-3 a taller fin, more fuel and a 2,400 lb gross weight; the Flying Station Wagon versions have a reinforced floor and removable rear seats. The type certificate passed to Piper and then Univair.
