The Wag-Aero Wag-a-Bond, Dick Wagner's plans-built replica of the Piper Vagabond, first flown on 9 June 1978 as the side-by-side companion to the tandem CUBy: a two-seat steel-tube-and-fabric taildragger with a 29 ft 3 in wing and 1,250 lb gross. The Classic reproduces the PA-15/PA-17 for engines of 65-100 hp; the Traveler adds a second door, wing fuel tanks and a larger baggage compartment for 108-115 hp engines. Some 722 had been built by December 2011.
