HAWKER BEECHCRAFT CORP G36
Everything here is true of every aircraft of the type, not of any one aircraft.
The G36 is the Bonanza in its final production form, with the Garmin G1000 flight deck and built under the Hawker Beechcraft name after Raytheon sold the company. It is the same long-body six-seat airframe that has been in production since 1968, with 300 hp, a double cargo door and club seating.
What a buyer gets is the most modern Bonanza available and an airframe that will be supportable for a long time; what they give up is payload, because the avionics and interior have pushed empty weight to around 2,530 lb, leaving about 680 lb with full tanks. That is three adults. Running costs are 16 to 17 gallons an hour plus an expensive IO-550 overhaul, and Beech parts prices remain what they have always been.
