HAWKER BEECHCRAFT CORP HAWKER 900XP
Everything here is true of every aircraft of the type, not of any one aircraft.
The Hawker 900XP is the last significant development of the de Havilland DH.125 line that began in 1962: the 850XP airframe with more efficient TFE731-50R engines and winglets, giving 2,900 nautical miles of range. It retains the widest and most comfortable cabin of any midsize jet of its generation.
The cabin is what you buy and the engines are what you pay for. The TFE731 requires a Major Periodic Inspection well before its overhaul interval, and engine programme enrolment is the single largest determinant of value on any Hawker — an off-programme aircraft with high-time engines can cost more to make serviceable than to buy. Hawker Beechcraft's 2012 bankruptcy ended production and left support running through Textron, which has been adequate but is a real consideration on a fleet this size.

- Each of the five categories places the model within its peer class, from 0 (the worst of the class) to 10 (the best): a position among comparable models, not a grade. The overall score is the sum of the categories shown that are scored, out of 10 for each (50 when all five are); it is given only when at least 4 of the five are scored, and it can be set against another model's only when both are in the same peer class and scored on the same categories.
