Aircraft model
TEXTRON AVIATION INC 700
Everything here is true of every aircraft of the type, not of any one aircraft.
The Citation Longitude is Textron's super-midsize jet, in service since 2019. It carries nine or ten passengers 3,500 nautical miles at 476 knots in a flat-floor stand-up cabin with a proper galley and lavatory, and it has the lowest cabin altitude in its class at 5,950 feet when at 45,000 — which is what passengers actually notice on a long flight.
It competes directly with the Challenger 350 and the Praetor 600 and undercuts both on price, which is the commercial argument. This is corporate flight department territory: two professional pilots, a hangar, and annual fixed costs in the hundreds of thousands before a single flight. Variable costs run around 270 gallons an hour plus engine programme and maintenance reserves. As a recent type the used market is thin and prices are close to new, so values are set by delivery position rather than by condition.

- Each of the five categories places the model within its peer class, from 0 (the worst of the class) to 10 (the best): a position among comparable models, not a grade. The overall score is the sum of the categories shown that are scored, out of 10 for each (50 when all five are); it is given only when at least 4 of the five are scored, and it can be set against another model's only when both are in the same peer class and scored on the same categories.
