The postwar Aeronca Chief, built 1946-1950: the side-by-side counterpart to the tandem Champ, with the same 65 hp Continental and fabric-over-steel-tube construction. The 11AC is the 65 hp Chief; the 11BC has the 85 hp Continental and a higher gross weight; the 11CC Super Chief (1948) a higher gross weight and wider centre-of-gravity range.
