Cirrus's smaller composite single, built since 1999: fixed gear, side-stick controls, a glass panel, five seats and a whole-airframe parachute. Used as a trainer by universities and flight academies and as a first aeroplane by owners who want the parachute; the engine changed from a 200 hp Continental to a 215 hp Lycoming in the G6 of 2017.
