The Arrow, Piper's retractable Cherokee and the standard complex trainer of American flight schools, built since 1967: the PA-28R-180 (1967-71), the 200 hp Arrow II (PA-28R-200, 1972-76), the tapered-wing Arrow III (PA-28R-201) and Turbo Arrow III (PA-28R-201T) from 1977, and the T-tailed Arrow IV (PA-28RT-201/201T, 1979-82) before the conventional tail returned. All on type certificate 2A13.
