The fixed-gear PA-32, built 1965-2007: a stretched Cherokee with a six-cylinder Lycoming, six or seven seats, a big rear double door and a nose baggage locker — the light-aeroplane station wagon. The Cherokee Six came in 260 hp and 300 hp (1966 on) versions; the tapered-wing Saratoga (PA-32-301) and Turbo Saratoga (PA-32-301T) replaced them in 1980; and the 6X (PA-32-301FT) and 6XT (PA-32-301XTC) of 2003-07 were the last.
