The Tecnam P2010, built since 2013: a four-seat high-wing single with a carbon-fibre fuselage and metal wings, certified under FAR 23 and the most credible new competitor the Cessna 172 has had in decades, with a 180 hp Lycoming and the Garmin G1000 NXi. The P2010 TDI (2019 on) has a 170 hp Continental CD-170 diesel burning Jet-A.
