Meyers / Aero Commander 200

2 models built 1959–1967 · 55 on the US register today

The Meyers 200, one of the best-built light aircraft ever certificated: a four-seat retractable with a welded steel-tube centre section and a flush-riveted stressed-skin wing, cruising at 190 knots on 285 hp. Meyers built it 1955-65; Aero Commander bought the design in 1965 and sold the 200D for two more years before deciding it cost too much to build.
