Grumman American AA-5 Traveler, Cheetah and Tiger

The four-seat Grumman American line, built 1971-1979 and revived 1990-93 and 2001-06, all on type certificate A16EA: a stretched AA-1 with a sliding canopy and bonded construction. The 150 hp AA-5 Traveler (American Aviation, then Grumman American), the refined 150 hp AA-5A Cheetah and the 180 hp AA-5B Tiger (Grumman American, then Gulfstream American from 1978) were followed by the AG-5B Tiger built by American General and later Tiger Aircraft.
